  Hey Gary, here is the pin out for the jack.
  
  Tip: 3.3v
  Ring1: GND
  Ring2: Input from sensor
  Sleeve: 1 wire interface, ID for sensor type

  How is the ID for a particular board determined? If I wanted to create my own breakout board or moisture sensor how would I do it?

  I am also curious to learn, how can we create our own breakout boards? I believe, opening that spec would help Twine's adoption.
