I'd really love to collect stats so I could graph the results. Was thinking the easiest would be to use the gate switch with the temperature sensor to track how many times my dog goes in & out of his dog door & what the temperature is when he does so. Then I could track to see if there's an increase/decrease of activity to temp. Thoughts on how I can collect?

    I dont think the RBS really supports that type of functionality. What we need is the ability to leverage variables in the output.

    Example: When mag switch is open, email this: 'Dog door open. Current temp is #TEMPERATURE#'

    And ideally twine would replace #TEMPERATURE# with the current temp it is reading.

    Yep, I second the variables. I would like to be able to put variable substitution in the email, text, etc.
