What is the orientation for best wifi reception?

Hi,
I'm trying to attach my twine to a mailbox door but when I cover it with tape I think it reduces the wifi signal strength too much so it can't send its text message.

Is there a certain orientation that works best, or is there a part of twine that shouldn't be covered to ensure the best signal strength?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

  • If you're not using metal tape it shouldn't affect things too much. If you're sticking Twine in a metal mailbox, that would contribute to the problem. The antenna is along the back edge (where the ports are), so keeping that side away from obstructions would help.
