Available PHP scripts with logging? (mysql?)

Im trying to find a simple PHP script with db possibileties to logg HTTP requests to my twine.

Id like it to send a temperature variable to it every hour and for it to logg it.

Im having a hard time finding a script like this available, any ideas?

I'm interested in this as well. For now, the closest thing I've seen is to use twine to send an HTTP request to thingspeak.com API. This will plot some data like temps.

Sadly, there are no rules available right now for 'regular intervals' that would send the current temp say every X amount of minutes etc.
