$35 breakout board, worth the cost?

Just curious... for those of you who have purchased the breakout board, is the $35 cost justified?

I initially purchased a Twine only, without any sensors and have been thinking about adding the breakout board. Is there a way to DIY this board?

not justified at all this twine should have bluetooth ability instead of hard wired breakout board to all its sensors.
