Anyone thought about using Twine for a BBQ meat thermometer?

This idea occurred to me and I'm wondering where to acquire a probe that would work with the Twine.

  • With Twine as it is, all sensors only report on/off, no analogue values are possible.
As for putting the Twine itself into the barbie, this is definitely not recommended, and would quickly take the Twine outside its operating specs; plus, the smoke from the frying circuit board and the exploding batteries would definitely ruin your food.
