Is the email from-address on my twine alerts consistent and unique to my twine?

  IFTTT provides better notification capabilities (true SMS instead of email to SMS, and voice phone calls). Plus you can integrate it with all kinds of other services. I plan to use it to alert me when my front door is open, or when the temperature gets too hot for the dog, or too cold.

  Oh... to answer Nic, it uses your First and Last name here as the name and the address is like this "twine+00001a111a111a11@supermechanical.net" (the 1's and a's are random numbers and letters)

  The 00001a111a111a11 is your Twine's unique ID, so it won't change.

  Nic, I am also trying to use TWINE to trigger my WeMo swtich so that my heater turns on when room temp is below 18 degree celcius, and turn off when above 20 degree celcius. I use IFTTT to turn on/off.

  Any workaround you can find to use TWINE for this application ?

  Have it send mail when temp = 17 degrees and one when it is 21 degrees and have gmail label or something based on that, then use the gmail channel as the if.

  tried that, but no success. I seemed to be confused on how twine can send an email to my gmail.com account with a label ? Anyone ?
